Thanks to lady Lake Superior, a spectacular night on a sandy beach, a girl not afraid to get dirty, and friends with a sense of humor, I came by the name of Sandy Pockets. Those involved will at the very least appreciate the nod.

Inside you’ll find memories gone by, thoughts, ideas, and upcoming events.
You’ll find randomocity from 2007-2011: Americorps*NCCC, Paraprofessional work in Mankato, Teaching English in South Korea, and working as a Conservation Educator at The Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio.

When I live on the other side of the planet, it can feel pretty far away some days, and so I hope for this page to provide a link with everyone at home while I embark on my adventures.

Welcome
